Topic: My First Week at a New School
Last month, my family moved to a new city. I didn’t want to leave my old school and friends, so I felt very nervous(1) before my first day. My parents told me to stay positive(2) and try to make new friends.
On the first day, I woke up early, got dressed, and packed my lunch(3). The school was big and full of students(4) I didn’t know. At first, I sat alone(5), but then a girl named Emma came and said hello. She was very friendly(6), and she helped me find my class.
The teachers were also kind and helpful(7). They showed me where everything was and gave me all the materials(8) I needed for class. At break time, I played soccer with some kids, and I really enjoyed(9) it.
By the end of the week, I already had a few new friends(10). I’m starting to feel more comfortable(11) at school, and I’m not afraid to ask questions(12) anymore.
