Topic: A Day at the Zoo
Yesterday, my class went to the zoo(1). We left school in the morning and took a short bus(2) ride. When we got there, the weather(3) was sunny and nice.
Our teacher gave us a map(4) so we could find the animals. The first animals we saw were the lions(5). They were big and loud. Next, we went to see the monkeys(6). They were funny and loved to jump(7) from tree to tree.
At lunchtime, we sat on the grass and ate our sandwiches(8). After lunch, we walked to the elephants(9). They were slow but very strong(10). We also saw birds, fish, and a very long snake(11).
Before we left, we went to the gift(12) shop. I bought a small toy tiger to remember the day.
