Every morning, they had breakfast outside. Mia’s dad made pancakes, and her mom prepared fresh fruit. After breakfast, the family went hiking. The trail was narrow and steep, but the view at the top was beautiful. They could see a lake and many colorful flowers.
In the afternoons, Mia and Jake played by the lake. Mia collected shiny rocks, and Jake tried to catch fish with a small net. One day, they even saw a deer drinking water.
At night, they sat around a campfire. They roasted marshmallows and told funny stories. Jake loved looking at the stars, which were bright and clear in the dark sky.
Mia said it was the best vacation ever, and she couldn’t wait to go back next summer.
